Dinner on a Dime is a new special week-long event in Charlottesville. Like its sister event, Restaurant Week, it gives savvy diners the chance to get a fine meal at a fine price.
So pick up The HOOK with the South Lawn on the cover and check out all of the great Dinner On A Dime menus then decide where you are going to go for dinner next week (10/4-10/10). For only $9.99 per meal you can afford to take the entire family! Tax, tip and beverages are not included.

We are excited that Rapture and Maharaja have decided to participate in our upcoming Dinner On A Dime event bringing us to 12 total participants! All of the menus will be published in a 16+ page spread in this week’s September 30th HOOK and the event begins Monday, October 4th. If you want to secure a reservation you can contact any of the participants for a reservation now but keep in mind that some participants will not be taking reservations but instead seating customers first come, first serve. If this is the case with your restaurant of choice, we suggest asking what time they open and arriving early or plan to have a drink (or two) at the bar while waiting for a table.
